BIBLICAL NAMES OF GIANTS

In chapter 15:18-21 they are enumerated and named among Canaanite Peoples: "Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, and the Amorites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites" (Genesis 15:19-21; compare Exodus 3: 8,17; 23:23. Deuteronomy 7; 20:17. Joshua 12:8). These were to be cut off, and driven out, and utterly destroyed (Deuteronomy 20:17. Joshua 3:10). But Israel failed in this (Joshua 13:13; 15:63; 16:10; 17:18. Judges 1:19,20,28,29,30-36; 2:1-5; 3:1-7);

As to their other names, they were called Anakim, from one Anak which came of the Nephilim (Numbers 13:22,33), and Rephaim, from Rapha, another notable one among them. From Deuteronomy 2:10, they were known by some as Emim, and Horim, and Zamzummim (verse 20,21) and Avim, etc.

In the Book of Numbers 13:33 they were the direct descendants of the antediluvian Nephilim, or were fathered by the same supernatural parents.

The story of the Nephilim is chronicled more fully in the Book of Enoch (part of Ethiopian biblical canon). Enoch, as well as Jubilees, connects the origin of the Nephilim with the fallen angels, and in particular with the Grigori (watchers). Samyaza, an angel of high rank, is described as leading a rebel sect of angels in a descent to earth to have sexual intercourse with human females:

Meaning: the descendants of Anak (Josh. 11:21; Num. 13:33; Deut. 9:2).

They lived in the south of Palestine, in the neighborhood of Hebron (Gen. 23:2; Josh. 15:13). In the days of Abraham (Gen. 14:5,6) they inhabited the region afterwards known as Edom and Moab, east of the Jordan. They were probably a remnant of the original inhabitants of Palestine before the Canaanites, a Cushite tribe from Babel, and of the same race as the Phoenicians and the Egyptian shepherd kings.

There were various tribes of Anakim (Josh. 15:14). Joshua finally expelled them from the land, except a remnant that found a refuge in the cities of Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod (Josh. 11:22). The Philistine giants whom David encountered (2 Sam. 21:15-22) were descendants of the Anakim.

The Hebrew word (nephilim) may mean "those causing others to fall". Abraham ibn Ezra proposes that they were called this because men's hearts would fail at the sight of them.

In ancient Aram (from which we get the Aramaic language), the constellation Orion was known as Nephila, and Orion's descendants were known as Nephilim.

Have you ever heard this discussed in church? Yet verses in the bible mention them.

Who are the Nephilim?

Their names from the Book of Jasher Chapter 6:7: And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqlel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens. There are 200 of them.

See Genesis 6:4, and Daniel 4:23 as a messenger ("Watcher"), a holy one coming down from Heaven. Also refered to as the Annunaki, Older copies of the bible use the word 'Watchers'. 4Q Daniels Book of Giants (4Q530) and Enochs Book of Giants 4Q532, which were not included in the cannon use the word 'watcher'.

The Red Haired mummies

According to the mythic tales the Tuatha de' Danann arrived in western Ireland (near modern Connacht) by air. They divided into two social classes: "gods" as teachers of medicine, smithing, communication or druidry, and "non-gods" as farmers or shepherds. Although no one knows for certain what the Tuatha looked like, descriptions, such as of their female war-leader Eriu, indicate tall attractive people with pale skin, high foreheads, long red hair and large blue eyes.

Other descriptions indicate blonde, golden hair with blue eyes. The blonde haired woman in the 1957 abduction of Antonio Villas Boas also had red body hair (pubic hair). She seems remarkably like Bill Chaker's female visitor, of which DNA testing was done , and the description of Eriu. If the Tuatha cross-bred with local humans, they would have left hybrid descendants who look somewhat like themselves.

Ramses II - Son of SETI. Ramses II was pharaoh from 1290 to 1224 B.C. He was the son of Seti, who Ramses ruled with for a few years. Ramses ruled for sixty-six years and two months.He was the last significant white pharaoh. The mummy of the red haired Egyptian King, Ramses II, is on public display at the Egyptian Museum, CairoForensics tests were done on Ramses, proving that his red hair was 'natural'. Erech (Heb. ‘erekh named after Enoch) was a city of ancient Babylonia founded by Nimrod, the Babylonian form of the name is Uruk.

The strongest body of archaeological evidence, combined with the biblical account, favors the ruins of Etemenanki (Sumerian name, "House of the Foundation of Heaven and Earth") as the likely spot for the Tower of Babel. This is located in the country of Iraq, in the city of Babylon, fifty miles south of today’s Baghdad. It was once believed to be Birs Nimrud in Borsippa or modern Es-sahen.

As time passed, religion was formed by men who served the Gods (Elohim-more than one). The ancient scrolls having been written by Enoch, told an awesome tale. The scrolls included the secrets for physicians and healers, astronomers, and mathematicans, scribes, ect., and the builders of great structures or temples. Each secret or skill was called 'a craft' and it was an elite group of pious men called Masons who had the skills. Only these gifted masters were allowed to have the secrets of a 'craft'. The secret books also hold the story of God's punishment of the so-called fallen angels. These subordinate gods created children when they mated with human women (line of Cain). This produced a race of Giants or Nephilim - Genesis 6:4. It was these giants who corrupted mankind, by giving the secret skills to unrighteous men (the line of Cain).

Genesis 6 (but see also Genesis 3:15, Peter 2:4-6, Jude 6-7), Enoch 1 relates this story in great detail. It lists the names of 18 "prefect" angels - of 200 - who committed this sin. According to the text, these angels also taught mankind the "making of swords and knives, shields and breastplates (metallurgy); ... magical medicine, dividing of roots (medicinal and hallucinogenic use); incantations, astrology, the seeing of the stars, the course of the moon, as well as the deception of man."

1880; An excavation in Brush Creek Township, Muskingurn County yielded the bones of men and women, buried in couples. The length of their skeletons exceeding eight and even nine feet!

The Brush Creek Tablet was found among skeletons of people over 8 and 9 feet tall in Muskigum County, Ohio, in the early 1880's. The whereabouts of the Tablet today are unknown.
1881;In digging the cellar of the house, nine human skeletons were found, and, like such specimens from other ancient mounds of the country, they showed that the Mound Builders were men of large stature. The skeletons were not found lying in such a manner as would indicate any arrangement of the bodies on the part of the entombers. In describing the tomb, Mr. Albert Harris said: "it looked as if the bodies had been dumped into a ditch. Some of them were buried deeper than others, the lower one being about seven feet below the surface." When the skeletons were found, Mr. Harris was twenty years of age, yet he states that he could put one of the skulls over his head, and let it rest upon his shoulders, while wearing a fur cap at the same time. The large size of all the bones was remarked, and the teeth were described as double all the way round

You may use the Concordance to enter a word which is then translated from the origional Hebrew text. Using the word 'giants' brings up several references used throughout the bible to describe them. They were even listed amoung the tribes. JOS 12:4 has this; And the coast of Og king of Bashan, [which was] of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,....

Jude directly quotes from 1 Enoch - "Behold he comes with ten thousands of his saints to execute judgment ..." (1 Enoch 2, Jude 14-15). Additionally, "the citations of Enoch by the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs... show that at the close of the second century B.C., and during the first century B.C., this book was regarded in certain circles as inspired"

There are several Execration Texts from the Middle Kingdom Period of Egypt that mention the Anakim giants, who are also mentioned in the Old Testament as living in Canaan at the time of the Israelite Exodus. There is also a passage in Papyrus Anastasi I from the New Kingdom Period, which refers to these same giants in the land of Canaan and gives their size. "The(?) narrow defile is infested(?) with Shosu concealed beneath the bushes; some of them are of four cubits or of five cubits, from head(??) to foot(?), fierce of face, their heart is not mild, and they hearken not to coaxing."

After he left Abraham on the mountain, Lot at first only pitched his tent near Sodom. Moses tells us, however, that he soon afterward moved his family inside that depraved city. He thus willingly established his home among a people apparently defiled to some extent by Nephilim blood .(see Origin of the Giants--Biblical Account). This we learn from Jude, who mentions that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah "indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh." Merrill F. linger also interprets this passage to mean that cohabitation between "beings of a different nature" probably took place. And exactly that happened. For no creatures of a strange flesh ever lived on this earth except the evolved Nephilim and their mongrel Gibborim offspring.

The word gibborim is used in the Tanakh in excess of 150 times and applied to men as well as lions (Book of Proverbs 30:30), hunters (Genesis 10:9), soldiers (Book of Jeremiah 51:30) and leaders (Book of Daniel 11:3). In modern Hebrew the word "gibbor" simply means "Hero". Retrieved from Gibborim

Og the King of Bashan had a bed that was 13 to 15 feet long; and Goliath was 6 cubits tall (9 feet) and they had six fingers and toes. In addition to giantism, the Gibborim had powerful psychic abilities like out of body experiences, levitation, mind control, time travel, mind reading, remote viewing, the power of placing curses and diseases, the power of removing curses and diseases, and ways of knowing and predicting the future. They were astrologers, homosexuals, lesbians, cannibals, serial killers, and the mighty men of renown. They had super powerful brains and they were extremely intelligent. They knew all the sciences. In short, they had demonic powers. They used these powers to control and enslave mankind.

The aberrant genetic tendencies of the Gibborim were unfortunately cloned into the D.N.A. of mankind. According to the Bible, only Noah escaped this genetic intervention. There are no records of these perverse tendencies prior to the intervention of the Watchers. These dormant genetic tendencies still surface today at times in different people as predicted in Genesis 6:4, "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward." These genetic mutations are the living evidence of the interaction of fallen angelic beings.

According to the Book of Jasher they not only tweaked with the D.N.A. of mankind but also with the animals. They may have produced such beasts as the Pegasus, Minotaur, the Unicorn, and the Dinosaurs. There are some scholars that speculate that one day this will happen again to produce the antichrist. Fallen angels will make love to women and back breed until they have genetically produced a creature that is fully fallen angel and fully man. A bastard angelic incarnation. This may be an explanation for the reported cases of 'alien' abduction. If alien abductions are really happening then we know the source and the purpose.

Interestingly, Arioch, one of the Babylonian kings that accompanied Chedorlaomer on this campaign, was himself a giant, his name being derived from arik, which means "tall among the giants." see Middle East Giants

Now Moses, in his chronicles, relates that two years before Abraham left Haran for Canaan,13 King Chedorlaomer invaded the Valley of Siddim, attacked Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Bela and brought them under his rule. With these victories, Chedorlaomer not only gained access to the cities' highly prized resources of bitumen, copper, and salt, but he also established control over the caravan routes from Arabia into Canaan and Egypt and the surrounding countries. Little else is known about this first campaign, except that Amraphel king of Shinnar, Arioch king of Ellasar, and Tidal king of Goiim accompanied Chedorlaomer and helped him conquer the five cities.

Biblical and historical records, along with credible archaeological evidence, show that when Abraham pulled up his tent stakes at Ur of the Chaldeans and moved his family and flocks to Canaan, many giants already occupied Transjordan. The scriptures also say that when this first Hebrew patriarch later established his headquarters at Hebron, he lived for some years among the Anakim giants who founded that city.

Continuing along what the ancients called the King's Highway, a trade route that ran the entire length of the Trans-jordanian plateau to the Gulf of Aqabah, Chedorlaomer and his confederate kings next fell upon the enormous Zamzummim people at Ham. Some archaeologists identify this city with modern Ham, which is located in eastern Gilead, about four miles south of Irbid. After this, the kings from Elam and Mesopotamia attacked and cut off the terrible Emim giants at nearby Shaveh Kiriathaim. These people, described as "great and many and tall," occupied the land that the Moabites later took.

The Amorites, probably the most numerous people in Canaan at the time of Israel's invasion, were near giants in both stature and strength. Their hugeness is confirmed by these words that the prophet Amos later wrote: "Thus says the Lord, '... It was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like the height of cedars and he was strong as the oaks.'"25 (See Israel's Wars with the Giants; Sihon's and Og's Overthrow)

After Debir fell to them, Joshua's legions attacked and completely destroyed nearby Anab, which the giant Anakim occupied. see Cities of the Giants

The traditions of peoples all over the world are quite unanimous in asserting that an an earlier time a race of giants lived on the earth, that most of the race were destroyed in great catastrophes; that they were of cruel nature and were furiously fighting among themselves; that the last of them were exterminated when after a cataclysm a migration of peoples brought the forebears of the peoples of today to their new homelands. This tale is told in detail by Plato. He calls the giants the 'Alantians'. Edgar Casey, world renown physic also gives details in his readings. Both men were called crazy but the evidence suggests otherwise.

The Japanese narrate that when their forefathers after a great catastrophe about two and a half or three thousand years ago, came from the continent and invaded the isles, they found there long-legged, furry giants. These giants were called Ainu. The forefathers of the Japanese were defeated in the first encounter, but in the second encounter they were victorious.

The Hebrew scriptures as preserved in the Old Testament and in the Talmud and Midrashim, narrate that among the races of the world in a previous age were races of giants, “men of great size and tremendous strength and ferocity,” who were destroying other races, but also were turning upon each other and destroying themselves.

Plato described the Giants and the Continent of Atlantis in 360 BC in Timaeus and Critias. The story is about the conflict between the ancient Athenians and the Atlantians 9000 years before Plato's time. Knowledge of the distant past apparently forgotten to the Athenians of Plato's day, the story of Atlantis was conveyed to Solon by Egyptian priests. Solon passed the tale to Dropides, the great-grandfather of Critias. Critias learned of it from his grandfather also named Critias, son of Dropides.

The Greek gods, Zeus, Posiden, and Hades are the three major gods out of the twelve Olympian gods and goddesess each and everyone had their own special abilities and powers. All three of these gods were sons of a cruel Titan, Cronos who was out throned by his most powerful son, Zeus the similarities and differences between these gods are pretty amazing if you really think about it.

The Mochica depicted these giants who had enslaved them on their pottery, painting their faces in black while that of the Mochicas was painted white. Also found in the Mochica remains are clay pottery figures of older men with white beards.

From Enki's Lost Book: "Enlil ordered his successor Ninurta to counter the spread of Marduk's Earthlings. "'The Earth by Earthlings inherited will be,' Enlil to Ninurta said. 'Go, the offspring of KA-IN (Cain) find, with them a domain of your own prepare.''

Cains punishment: "For your sin of your birthright you are deprived, but of your seed seven nations will come. In a realm set apart they shall thrive, distant lands they shall inhabit. But having your brother with a stone killed, by a stone will be your end."

Ninurta returned Ka-in to the wilds east of Edin where "in a distant realm Ka-in had sons and daughters" Ninurta, "for them a city built, and as he was building, by a falling stone was he [Ka-in] killed." (Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men page 112] suggests this might have been a murder rather than accident.)

It was Enki, on the other hand, who, despite the wrath of his brother, granted the Sumerians access to the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life. It was Enki who set up the escape strategy during the Flood, and it was Enki who passed over the time-honoured Tables of Destiny - the tables of scientific law which became the bedrock of the early mystery schools in Egypt. How do we know this? Because it is recorded in the Sumerian clay tablets and those tablets are 5000 years old. Zecharia Sitchin has spent 40 years studing these texts and is considered an expert in their translation.

The Egyptian Gods;

First was Ptah. In Memphis, Ptah was worshipped in his own right, and was seen as Atum's father, or rather, the father of Nefertum, the younger form of Atum (ADAM). When the beliefs about the Ennead (Atum, his children Shu and Tefnut, and their descendants Geb, Isis, Nephthys, Nut, Osiris, and Set.) and Ogdoad (Greek-eight deities. Hermopolis during what is called the Old Kingdom, the third through sixth dynasties, dated between 2,686 to 2,134 B.C.) were later merged, and Atum was identified as Ra (Atum-Ra), himself seen as Horus (Ra-Herakhty), this led to Ptah being said to be married to Sekhmet, at the time considered the earlier form of Hathor. Horus', thus Atum's, mother ("Isis/Eve, the mother of the living").

To the left is a Stucco relief of Ptah with staff and ankh and djed. Late Period or Ptolemaic Dynasty, 4th to 3rd century BC. Since Ptah was the primordial mound, and had called creation into being, he was considered the god of craftsmen, and in particular stone-based crafts.

Eventually, due to the connection of these things to tombs, and that at Thebes, the craftsmen regarded him so highly as to say that he controlled their destiny. Consequently, first amongst the craftsmen, then the population as a whole, Ptah also became a god of reincarnation.

Then we have two of the oldest Babyloian Gods; Marduk, Sargon and their divine parents, wives, sisters, brothers, ect. Markuk was Enki's son, Sargon was a son of the Enlil family. Sargon has been proven to be a real person because statues of him have been found in Mesopotamia. There is no indication that he was a giant however. Sargon reigned for 56 years, c. 2270 BC – 2215 BC

But since "kingship" was lowered from Heaven to humans, the humans were considered Gods. Genesis 3:5 "You will be like God"...

After the days of Hammurabi, the cult of Marduk eclipsed that of Enlil; although Nippur and the cult of Enlil enjoyed a period of renaissance during the four centuries of Kassite control in Babylonia (c. 1570 BC–1157 BC), the definite and permanent triumph of Marduk over Enlil became felt within the Babylonian empire.

In Enûma Elish, a civil war between the gods was growing to a climactic battle. The Anunnaki gods gathered together to find one god who could defeat the gods rising against them. Marduk, a very young god, answered the call and was promised the position of head god.

Babylonian texts talk of the creation of Eridu by the god Marduk as the first city, "the holy city, the dwelling of their [the other gods] delight". Nabu, god of wisdom, is a son of Marduk.

In late Babylonian astrology, Marduk was connected to the planet Jupiter. As the ruler of the late Babylonian pantheon, he was equated with the Greek god Zeus (Latin Jupiter).

According to Zacharia Sitchin, an expert on Sumerian texts, Marduk- also known as Ra in Egypt, travels to the "Lower World" (South Africa) and his brother, Ningishzidda (Thoth) travels to Meso (South) America. It seems that they both were exiled following a conflict with Enlil over the marriage of Marduk's younger brother Dumuzi to Enlil's granddaughter Ishtar, when Marduk caused his brother's death. It is believed that Marduk eventually joined Thoth, where they became known as the twined Maya gods referred to as Tezcatipoca and Quetzalcoatl (circa 3113 BC). Evidence has been found in mesoamerica of gold and copper mining operations that date back to 3,000 BC by the "Inca's". IN.CA - syllables reversed is KA.IN/CA.IN.

Sargon and Marduk were bitter enemies and they and their clans had wars with real weapons. Marduk is also was depicted in statues and rock walls. A storm-god - (Marduk) here holding two double-forked tripartite lightning bolts. (Zeus, Arthur Cook, 1925, Fig 728) The feathers are also significant and are an allegorical reference or symbol of flight. Compair this to the graphic of Markuk above. He is covered by feathers and holds two lighting bolts.

The Red Haired Mummies of the Canary Islands Off the coast of West Africa lie the Canary Islands - this region became home to a mysterious group of Nordics in antiquity who became known as the Guanches.

"All historians agree in reporting that the Canarians were beautiful. They were tall, well built and of singular proportion. They were also robust and courageous with high mental capacity. Women were very beautiful and Spanish Gentlemen often used to take their wives among the population. The most stunning link between the Guanches and the Egyptians comes in the form of pyramids - the Guanches built several small step pyramids on the islands, using exactly the same model as those found in ancient Egypt and in Mesopotamia. The pyramids have an east-west alignment.

Generally dolichocephalic, fair-featured with blond or red-hair, with males over six foot tall and women approaching six feet in height, they were a people of tall, strong and comely appearance, resembling many Northern Europeans today but for a generally greater and more robust stature. Their general appearance and racial characteristic were valued by the Spanish:

The asiatic Indians of Central and South America, traditionally referred to as the indigenous peoples of the New World, although increasing evidence is pointing to a multi-cultural pre-Columbian New World of varying ethnic Asiatic groups as well as Caucasians and proto-humanoid beings of more archaic age, referred to the Columbians as Quetzalcoatl, referring to the plumed serpent-god of the heavens which would return in the form of a white, bearded man in the year 1519 CE (by the calendar of the Europeans of the time); this date was venerated by the Aztecs in Tenochtitlan as an eschatological date and preparations were made by the court astrologers of the palace of Montezuma for their return. Other tribes of the New World in both Central and South America also venerated these wise, bearded white men for their previous incarnations and flying canoes which had brought culture, peace and prosperity to these regions in the remote past.

We had read Fingerprints of the Gods, by Graham Hancock which in chapter 5 focuses on the 'bearded stranger' who is dressed in long flowing robes, had blue eyes and was Caucasian. He walked with a staff and addressed the natives with love, calling them his sons and daughters. He walked the land and worked miracles. He healed the sick by touch. This gods name was Viracocha, but he wasn't a Spaniard, he just had a Spanish name because that's the language the people spoke.. He appeared in South America around the time of 'the Maya' and 'Inka' culture but he was far superior to them in knowledge.

Viracocha, was the creator of civilization, and one of the most important deities in the Inca canon. Encyclopedia Mythica defines Viracocha as "The supreme Inca god, synthesis of sun-god and storm-god."

Viracocha was a storm god and a sun god who was represented as wearing the sun for a crown, with thunderbolts in his hands, and tears descending from his eyes as rain. He wandered the earth disguised as a beggar and wept when he saw the plight of the creatures he had created. Viracocha made the earth, the stars, the sky and mankind, but his first creation displeased him, so he destroyed it with a flood and made a new, better one, taking to his wanderings as a beggar, teaching his new creations the basics of civilization, as well as working numerous miracles.

Graham Hancock has speculated that Viracocha was in some way related to Quetzalcoatl, a deity of the Mexica (Aztecs). While the mythology of the two deities is quite similar, many respected Aztec historians, archeologists, anthropologists, and other Aztec experts do not agree, mostly due to a lack of orthodox historical evidence. His role as creator and civilizator is similar to the Colombian myth of Bochica.

He (and in some cases his ‘men’, suncasapa or bearded ones - mythic soldiers of Viracocha) was described as being a caucasian, bearded man in some writings, as someone with white skin, hair on the face and beautiful emerald eyes in others. These properties somewhat resemble Kukulkan, Quetzalcoatl, Gucumatz in central America, Votan in Palenque and Zamna in Izamal. and see Viracocha; A Comparison Among Inca, Mayan and Aztec Creation Myths. These Gods are all white skined and bearded.

The word Nephilim or 'giants' can still be found in older bibles at Genesis 6:4. Research on the word gives us clues as to who their 'Fathers' were. Another argument says the word Nephilim does not mean "giants" and that it comes from the root "naphal," meaning "fallen ones."

The Catholic encyclopedia says, 'Elohim' is the common name for God. It is a plural form, but "The usage of the language gives no support to the supposition that we have in the plural form Elohim, applied to the God of Israel, the remains of an early polytheism, or at least a combination with the higher spiritual beings" (Kautzsch). Grammarians call it a plural of majesty or rank, or of abstraction, or of magnitude (Gesenius, Grammatik,) The Ethiopic plural amlak has become a proper name of God. Hoffmann has pointed out an analogous plural Elim in the Phoenician inscriptions.

If we have recourse to the use of the word Elohim in the study of its meaning, we find that in its proper sense it denotes either the true God or false gods, and metaphorically it is applied to judges, angels, and kings; and even accompanies other nouns, giving them a superlative meaning.

"Having studied all the arguments in favor of "sons of Seth," for the 'fallen ones', one concludes that the only argument that is valid among them is that of rationality.

To impose a human interpretation at the expense of the obvious meaning of the divine Word, is a rape of the biblical text. Furthermore, when one deals with the world of the supernatural, rationality is never an argument.

The 'US' in Genesis 3:22 and Genesis 1:26; 'US' is not God, but a number of gods. The word Elohim is plural. Genesis 6:4 is the clincher...The Nephilim. The leader is Azazel; He is one of 200 angels who, after seeing beautiful mortal women, went down to have sex with them. Because of this act, all 200 were cast out of heaven. Azazel, angry at God, taught the humans forbidden knowledge such as writing and vanity.

However in the 'Books of Enoch' we find that this is not sinfull because Enoch is instructed by God to write down all he has learned which includes the 'seven sciences'. They are: grammar, rhetoric, logic, arithmatic, geomenry, astronomy, music. He is to teach this to his sons and no one else!

It is significant, that the Genesis Apocryphon mentions the Nephilim, and makes reference to the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men" introduced in Genesis 6. The Apocryphon also elaborates considerably on the succinct statements found in the Bible, and provides valuable insights into the way these ancient stories were interpreted by the ancient Jews.

The copy of the Genesis Apocryphon discovered at Qumran dates back to the 2nd century B.C., but it was obviously based on much older sources. When discovered in 1947, it had been much mutilated from the ravages of time and humidity. The sheets had become so badly stuck together that years passed before the text was deciphered and made known. When scholars finally made public its content, the document confirmed that celestial beings from the skies had landed on planet Earth. More than that, it told how these beings had mated with Earth-women and had begat giants.
