You can now join a new Yahoo! Group especially for Eastern Star Members in District 20.

What is a Yahoo! Group? It is primarily an email distribution list, allowing you to send a message to a large number of people by sending an email to just one email address.

In this case, the Group is set up for members of OES District 20. By simply sending an email to "oesdistrict20@yahoogroups.com", you can contact every member of the Group. While this brand-new Group has only a few members at this time, we hope that - before long - hundreds of our Sisters and Brothers in District 20 will find this an essential part of their OES life.

Below is a "Subscribe to oesdistrict20" section. Just enter your email address (if you have multiple email addresses, enter the one you wish to use for this Group) and click on the "Yahoo! Groups Join Now!" button. A new screen will come up informing you that a message is being sent to the email address you just used.

Part of the email will include a "Join this Group!" button.

When you click on it you will be directed the the Yahoo! Groups website, where you will have two options: to "Join the group" or "join the mailing List instead". If you already have a Yahoo! ID, you can "Join the group", which will give you access to the mailing list, as well as access to various Web tools (Polls, Files, Photos, for example), which have not yet been implemented for this Group (honestly, we haven't looked into them yet). If you just "join the Mailing List instead", no Yahoo! ID is required.

Please join us!

Thank you very much,

Your oesdistrict20 Group Moderators
Melody & Gary Nordmoe

Does your Chapter have any events that I don't have listed on the Calendar? Does your Lodge have any activities planned that are open to Eastern Star Members? Send them to me, and I'll add them to this website.
