Sr Burrows, while travelling around Australia several years ago, was transported from Albany to Perth by the RFDS and was of course, delighted to have the opportunity to visit the facilities at Jandakot to get an insight into the workings of the RFDS. |
| After an excellent lunch at the Club House the members visited the WA Association for the Blind to present a cheque for $500 to assist with puppy training. They were made most welcome and given an update of the progress of the new facilities being built close to Victoria Park train station and introduced to some of the delightful trainee puppies. |
| Sr Roberts, a lay chaplain at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, arranged for Sr Leigh to visit and make a donation to Ward 5 again this year. This donation is given directly to the Ward Manager who has purchased individual electronic equipment for the long term patients |
