THE BROKEN COLUMN: SYMBOL OF LOST BROTHERS
__________________________________________________________________________________

OCTOBER 14th, 2010

Bro. John M. Hall joined Silver Leaf Lodge No.457 January 2010 and traveled to that house not made by hands, eternal to heaven on October 14, 2010. At the age of 77, Bro. Hall was still very active in the lodge. Demitting from Jupiter Lodge No. 22 jurisdiction of P.H.A. Free and Accepted Masonry of Florida, he sought home with the Most Worshipful Prince Grand Lodge of Georgia and being a member of good standing gained admission. We shall miss him surely, his presence and maturity kept the assembly alive with peace and harmony.

Past Master Calvin Lunsford became a Master Mason in Silver Leaf Lodge 457 on November 17, 1997, later served as Worshipful Master and then lastly, Treasurer of Silver Leaf Lodge No. 457, until his service was called to the GAOTU. A trusted, devoted and beloved Brother, P.M. Calvin Lunsford was ever the giver of wisdom and knowledge. He loved all the Brothers of our lodge with equal fervor and honesty. To be his Brother meant unlimited hospitality and unlimited loyalty from a “Worthy Brother. At the age of 61, P.M. Lunsford left us with a voice of advice that will echo and ring through our lodge for a very long time; travel well my Brother.
