Commemorative Coins and Pins

     We have available a Far North Lodge Commemorative Coin and Lodge Pins. The coins are individually numbered and available in limited quantity.
The coins are $10 each, and available from the Worshipful Master. (Email him here)

     The pins are $5 each, and available through the Secretary. They are the Lodge seal / logo.

     All proceeds help support the Lodge.

1 December 2005

     Notices have been mailed out for our next meeting, which will be held at the Inuvik Lions Den, due to a lack of heat / power at the Lodge building. If everything goes well, all members for whom we have an email address will receive a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) version of the notice by email.
     Due to vacations and the number of other Christmas Parties the brethren will be attending, we will have a social evening in January in lieu of a Christmas dinner this month.
      The building committee will continue their work on the list of work that needs to be done on the Lodge building, and options for getting the best and most use out of it. Expect a call to come out and help work on the building.

     On behalf of the Worshipful Master, the Officers and Members of the Lodge, have a safe and happy holiday season.

14 September 2005

     I hope everyone had a great summer. Our Board of General Purposes met in early September, and it was decided to go ahead with the "We Can Help" program. The building committee is working on a prioritized list of work that needs to be done on the Lodge building. Expect a call to come out and help work on the building.

     Three brethren will prove up at an emergent meeting in September, and we may have a 3rd degree if the candidate is ready. If you are able to assist with the work, please contact the Director of Ceremonies, RW Bro. Townsend.

     Notices will be sent out by both email and regular mail. If you wish to have your notice only by email, please contact the secretary.

20 June 2005

     Grand Lodge has been completed for the year, and there are a couple of items of significance to report:
       - The Alberta Masonic Higher Education Bursary has been changed to include the Northwest Territories;
       - Far North and Yellowknife Lodges will both be in Northern Lights District (subject to confirmation by the new Grand Master);

       As a result, I have added a number of items to the
Events Calendar, including the tentative DDGM visit schedule and the dates of installations in the other Lodges in the District.

     In the next few days, I will include the Secretary's and Master's messages from our regular notices, and will be adding a slightly different menu bar.

     If you have any suggestions for site content, please email the webmaster.

14 March 2005

     I have finally managed to get around to updating this site.

     You will notice that the list of Newsletters / Summonses has been removed. It was brought to our attention that it might not be a good idea to publish our newsletter outside the Masonic Circle.
      The "Consecration" button to the left now links to an archive page, which also includes a link to a few photos of the consecration.
      There is now a history of the Lodge. You can read it by clicking the "Lodge History" button to the left.

     I have added a calendar to the site, which will give an idea of the number of events that Far North Lodge is involved in.

NEXT EVENTS:

Thursday 15 December, 7:30 pm - Regular Meeting at the Lions Den ........ January 12, 2006 (Tentative) -- Emergent Meeting and possible DDGM visit ..... February  9, 2006 -- Regular Meeting
