Hello everyone . . . .
RECENT EVENTS. . . .
On Saturday the Bethel attended a picnic for Northern Virginia youth at Collingwood in Alexandria. The girls had a good time . . . . but those pesky Jobie adults were at it again with their water guns! The day was capped off with a dance under the stars and by the Potomac River.
Last night the Bethel had its regular meeting - and the sidelines were full! Thank you to Bethels 1 and 28 for coming out to our meeting! We also had a return visitor - - Miss Jennifer Stevens, a Majority Member for Bethel 142 in Oxnard, California. This was Jennifer's second visit to Bethel 22. It was great to have all of you at the meeting -- we hope you will return soon!
ON TAP FOR THIS WEEK . . . .
At last night's meeting, the girls voted to have a booth at the Burke Centre Fall Festival. We spoke briefly after the meeting about making soap and candles for this event, as well as other items. My home is open on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. to anyone that would like to come make things for the festival! Please let your line officer know if you are planning to attend. If you have other craft ideas in mind and you want to bring them to share, you are welcome to (this includes friendship bracelets, buttons, and anything else you can think of!!)

Please keep Margaret's brother in your thoughts and prayers - he is currently in Pediatric ICU and is expected to be there all week. Phone calls and cards may brighten the family's day . . . .
