Hello everyone!
RECENT EVENTS.......
Mom Mona, Mira, Meera, Kori and Kasey all attended Leadership Weekend this
past weekend. I'm told they had a great time - some even came back with a
few stories! Hats off to Mom Ann for planning this event for our young
ladies.
Last night we had a very small pot luck dinner - Mexican style! Thanks to
those who brought food to share.
ON TAP FOR THIS WEEK......

On May 9 a few members of our Bethel will be presenting the "Old Rugged
Cross" ceremony for the members of AW Lodge No. 22. Those that signed up to
attend were: Danielle, Stacey, Jenna, Katie (maybe) and Mira (maybe).
Please let me know if you cannot attend. Please arrive at the Temple no
later than 7:15 to change into your robe. The evening should be done
between 8:30 - 9:00.

On May 11, we will have another carwash at the Citgo on Franconia Rd. in
Springfield (near the DMV). Please bring any buckets, sponges, hoses,
towels and soap you may have. Sign up with your line officer if you can
attend.

Also on May 11 is the Martha Washington Tea Party at the Temple. This is a
fund-raiser that the Martha Washington Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star,
is doing. The cost to attend is $6.00. The party will be from 3 - 5. This
would be a WONDERFUL thing for the daughters and their mothers to attend.
Sign up with your line officer if you can attend.
REMINDERS.....

I MUST have your Session medical forms THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!! The "early bird"
deadline is QUICKLY approaching. (Early bird means we pay a reduced amount
in fees.) If I do not have your medical form, you WILL NOT be going to
Session. Give me a call if you need my mailing address. Remember, I MUST
have you medical form in my hand in order to register you for Session. If
you are not planning on attending Session, give me a call and let me know.

CHARITY AMERICA - - Do you have stuff you want to donate to a good cause??
The Bethel is collecting donations for Charity America. Please bring all
donations to the May 19 meeting. May 19 is your only opportunity to bring
stuff.

May 19 - - Bethel meeting: Majority Ceremony for Mom Wendy and Mom Lanham,
council recommendations and elections. (possible proficiency ceremony too.)
SESSION....
We need to start getting together to put all of our Session plans together.
Please let me know what dates are best for you to meet - - we do not want to
wait to do this until the last minute!! Session takes a lot of work. If
you can donate your house and your time - - let me know what dates are best
for you. If you have ideas - let me know what they are.
