Happy April Fool's Day! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter, and for those of you that enjoyed a week off last week - I hope you are well rested. As the week begins, we get back into the swing of things (rather quickly, in fact.) So, without further ado.....

RECENT EVENTS.....

ON TAP FOR THIS WEEK......

• This Wednesday, April 3, there will be brief council meeting at the Groner's house at 7:30 p.m. Line Officers and Council members are encouraged to attend.
• Saturday, April 6 is the much talked about Spring Retreat! The only information you'll find here is this: It will begin promptly at noon at Lee District Park's Picnic Area (by the basket ball courts) in Alexandria, off Telegraph Road with lunch on the Bethel. Around 5:30pm we will be moving ourselves to the Groner's and will conclude the evening there around 9pm. Please bring $5 for dinner and dress to be outside most of the day. If, by chance it is raining in the hours before noon or as you are on your way, please meet at the Groner's rather than the park. Also, don't forget to bring your one special piece of music. Please make sure that your song is appropriate (no foul language, please!!) Dress comfortably - as we will be outdoors most of the day. Be sure to bring sweatshirts and such, in case you get cold.
• Sunday, April 7 is a regular Bethel meeting. We will be honoring Master Masons and Eastern Star. At the last council meeting, Mom Groner volunteered to send out invitations to the chapters and lodges - so be prepared for guests!

  COMING SOON.......

• April 13 - Grandparent's Day at the Masonic Home in Richmond (in a.m.)/ HQMCWA Ball at the Kena Temple ANEK (that's KENA spelled backwards.....) in the p.m.
• April 14 - Surprise activity, which will be discussed at the next Bethel meeting.

  SESSION.....

  By now you should have received your medical forms and your surveys. Please return both to me no later than April 21. Yes, you may bring them to the retreat and the Bethel meeting on the 7th, if you wish to do so. No information has been received yet on individual competitions.

  LEADERSHIP WEEKEND.....

  This year's Leadership Weekend will take place on May 3-5. Those representing the Bethel this year are: Meera, Kori and Kasey. Hope you ladies have lots of fun!!

  BIRTHDAYS......

  I do not know of any recent birthdays, but if you have any - - be sure to let me know.
