Before I begin with this week's Bethel Guardian's Corner, I want to take this moment to wish all of you a safe and happy new year. This past year has been, overall, a good one for the Bethel. I want you all to remember the accomplishments the Bethel has had this year: winning the Supreme Spirit Award, initiating members, earning more money for HIKE than in years past, travelling, pageant - - just to name a few. Carry these memories with you into the coming new year and remember that we can do even better next year!

RECENT EVENTS........

On Thursday, Dec 27 the Bethel served the reception for the AW Lodge No. 22. You ladies received a number of compliments from the members of the lodge, as well as from the Worshipful Master. In fact, you ladies did such a good job - - he has invited you to cater and serve the Grand Master's Visit dinner on February 23.

Yesterday, Dec. 30, the Bethel held a special meeting to re-elect the offices of Junior Princess, Guide and Marshal. The results of the election are as follows:

ON TAP THIS WEEK.......

This weekend is our semi-annual Installation of Officers. Rehearsal is at 10:30 a.m. in the North Room. If Mom Kapoor has asked you to bring food for the reception, please bring it at that time. The Installation will begin at 7 p.m. - - but, please arrive no later than 6 p.m. If you cannot attend the Installation, please email Mom Melanie (phq22va@aol.com) immediately. Attire is semi-formal.

ANNOUNCEMENTS......

The Northern Virginia Ritual Competition has been rescheduled for February 23, in the morning.
