Back to Guardian's Corner

December 16, 2002

Hello everyone!

This is the Bethel Guardian's Corner for Dec. 16 - Jan. 5.

RECENT EVENTS . . . .

Many members of the Bethel attended the AW DeMolay Installation on Friday night. They stayed after the installation for the dance. I'm told they all had a great time.

Stacey Hampton and Danielle Heim attended the John Blair Lodge Installation on Saturday morning and passed our programs. I'd like to thank both young ladies for attending - I know it meant a lot to Dad James and the new Worshipful Master, Bob Rohrback. For those of you who missed it - Dad James was installed as Junior Deacon.

At our meeting last night, Heather Cox received her Majority Degree. Congratulations "Mom" Heather!

We also held an election of officers last night. The results are as follows:

  • Honored Queen: Meera Kapoor
  • Senior Princess: Jenna Hampton
  • Junior Princess: Kasey Lanham
  • Guide: Danielle Heim
  • Marshal: Stacey Hampton, PHQ
Congratulations to those officers! I know you all will do a wonderful job! Your council looks forward to working with you!

ON TAP FOR THIS WEEK . . . .

Enjoy your week! There is nothing on the schedule this week! So, use your time to finish up that all-important holiday shopping!

COMING SOON . . . .

On Friday, December 27 at 7 p.m. the Alexandria-Washington Lodge will have their annual installation of officers. The Bethel has been asked to pass out programs. Daughters should arrive in semi-formal attire at 6:30 p.m. The installation is in the Blue Lodge room at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial. A reception will follow. Please plan to attend this event and show your support for the Lodge that supports our Bethel! You can sign up with your Line Officer next week.

CHRISTMAS TREE SALES . . . .

Christmas tree sales will continue this week - regardless of weather. You are expected to be on time - unless otherwise you have pre-arranged your tardiness with Dad Matt Szramoski. Please do not leave the lot if you arrive and you are the only ones there! Call Dad James or myself and find out what's going on! We'll make the necessary calls if we need to. Make sure that you dress warmly - it's cold out there. And when it is really breezy - it's even colder. Be sure to dress accordingly - you'll be happy you did!

IN TUNE WITH 22 . . . .

You still have time to give Mom Mona your ticket stubs, programs, etc. She has to have your information prior to the Installation!!!! Don't miss out - contact Mom Mona today! She's waiting to hear from you. . .

SUNSHINE . . .

Mom Sarah Walker, PHQ, PBG 22 was admitted to the hospital last week. It has come to my attention that she is now at home. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. The card, which circulated the meeting yesterday, will be sent to her this week!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK . . . .

"We're Job's Daughters fair and true . . . We stand steadfast and upright, reaching for the best!"

HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
