Welcome!

RECENT EVENTS......

On Saturday, November 17 the Bethel participated in the Help the Homeless Walkathon in Washington, D.C. The Bethel raised a total of $540 for the homeless! Congratulations ladies! The walk began at 10 a.m. and we finished around noon, with a stop for food in between, of course! A good time was had by all.

Congratulations to Kasey Lanham, who completed the Proficiency Test with flying colors! She did a wonderful job during the Proficiency Ceremony, held on November 18.

Thank you to the Masons and Eastern Star who were present at our meeting last night. Your presence helped these wonderful young ladies earn 75 spirit points!

THIS WEEK'S EVENTS......

Mira Cox and Stacey Hampton will be traveling to Williamsburg this Friday for Pageant. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they represent this Bethel. Be sure to wish them good luck!

This Saturday, November 24 the Bethel will be attending Pageant in Williamsburg. We will be leaving from the CVS Parking lot on Old Keene Mill Road, in Springfield at 1 p.m. This is the same place we met for HIKE, just a little later! We will be returning to the GWMNM Temple on Sunday evening. Phone calls will be made from Fredericksburg, VA on Sunday.

The Pageant is semi-formal, with a Dressy Casual dance following. The Supreme Visitation on Sunday is normal Jobie attire - dress as if you were visiting another Bethel. Pack traveling clothes, as we are leaving directly after the Supreme Visitation.

Also this Saturday, is the Tall Cedars Installation. It will begin at 7 p.m. with the Cedarettes Installation. The Cedars Installation will follow. Dad Baker has asked that we provide service for the reception. Please let me know if you can help out! It would be greatly appreciated - especially considering all that Dad Baker does for the Bethel.

UPCOMING EVENTS......

Christmas Tree Sales begin Dec. 1 - look for a special section on the website for your shifts!

December 2 - Bethel meeting 6 p.m. We will be going to Generous George's on Duke Street at 4 p.m. We will need drivers for the return.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK......

"In the story Job's happiness and prosperity, and loss of family and possessions, we are impressed with the need of improving our times of prosperity with acts of kindness to our companions."

Have a wonderful week - and Happy Thanksgiving!
