Hello and welcome to the first Guardian's Corner. The purpose of this section is to provide the members and visitors of Bethel No. 22 up-to-date information on current and upcoming activities. Without further ado . . .

IN THE NEWS . . . .

Thanks to everyone who made our Halloween Prospect Party a success! Your valuable ideas, time and money were greatly appreciated - by the girls and by me. Thank you so much for the time and energy you put into making this party fun for all! Could this be the start of a Bethel 22 tradition?

THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITIES . . . . .

On November 2, 2001 Mom Groner will be hosting a slumber party. A Mary Kay Representative will be on hand to give make-overs! Please arrive by 6:30 p.m. Don't forget $10 - for dinner and breakfast. And, please don't forget that the Council will be judging their First Annual Silly Pajamas Contest! Be creative - - and be silly! Prizes will be award for the silliest and most creative set of pajamas! It should be loads of fun - hope to see you there!

November 4, 2001 is a regular Bethel meeting. We will be honoring Bethel Guardians and Associate Bethel Guardians - past and present. Invitations went out to folks - so we should have some sideliners! Study your parts so that you will make a beautiful and lasting impression.

November 4 is also a POT LUCK DINNER! Each person should bring one food item to share. Please call Mom Linda or Mom Melanie to tell them what you will bring. Please arrive for the dinner at 4:30. REMEMBER: We get spirit points for this!

SUNSHINE . . . .

Do you know someone that's having a birthday soon? Know someone who's needs a pick-me-up? If you answered either of these questions, contact the Sunshine Committee and let them know so then can send out a card! The Sunshine Committee members are: Danielle Heim and Mira Cox.

SPIRIT AWARD UPDATE . . . . .

We are right on schedule with the spirit points. We need 1,000 points to win this award. We currently have points. We have so much more coming up soon - - keep up the good work! Just to let you know - we receive points when EVERY member attends our meetings!

November 10, 2001 - 62 & 66 GV @ 1 p.m. in VA Beach; 8 p.m. Dance
November 11, 2001 - 11, 37, 71 GV @ 2 p.m. in Chesapeake
