Hello everyone!!

RECENT EVENTS . . . .

Last night, with the help of Bethel 1, the girls initiated Katie Boltwood and Brooke Barlow into our Bethel. All of the girls did a remarkable job and we are very proud of them!

On Saturday the Bethel held a Yard Sale at the Groner's house. Thank you to those who donated items to sell. And, a big thank you to those who came out and sat in the hot sun for a few hours! Your hard work paid off!!

ON TAP FOR THIS WEEK . . . .

This Saturday, we will be meeting at the Hampton's at 8 a.m. for the Masonic Family Day. We will be traveling to Richmond, to the Masonic Home. While there, we will visit with our grandparents. Please sign up with your line officer if you can attend. We will need drivers for this event. Remember that our grandparents LOVE to have visitors! We will, most likely, be leaving Richmond by 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

On Sunday there is a MYSTERY TRIP . . . We will be meeting at my house in Centreville at 1 p.m. You will need to bring $20 for the trip. After we return, you will be dropped off at the Hampton's house. You should be picked up there, unless you plan to continue the fun and stay for food, bowling and a slumber party!! Please sign up with your line officer. We will need drivers for this event.

COMING SOON . . . .

  • October 19 - Grand Visitation. Please remember that GV is an extremely important event and should not be missed, unless prevented by a reasonable excuse. Mom Dee is coming from the Petersburg area to visit with you all and it mean a great deal to her to have as many of the daughters there as possible. Rehearsal will begin at 3 p.m. at our Temple. We will stay there and order pizza for dinner, so please bring a couple of dollars. The GV will start at 7 p.m. and will, hopefully, be over by 8:30 p.m. You were to take your robes home last night. Please make sure that your hem is secured - and that your robe is washed and ironed. Also, please do not forget to wear your long white slip, white slippers and white panty-hose/knee-highs.
  • THERE IS NO MEETING ON OCTOBER 20. OUR NEXT BETHEL MEETING IS NOVEMBER 3.
