Message from the High Priest

Companions, I consider it a great honor to have been selected to serve Willis Chapter as High Priest for the 2008-2009 Capitular Year. Thank you for the opportunity.

I had not been active in Royal Arch Masonry since receiving my Degrees in 1981. Three years ago I was asked by REC Thomas E. Williams to become active and help out the Officer line. I was happy and honored to do so.

We lost a very dear friend recently. Excellent Companion Charles E. Griffith, KYCH, Past High Priest 1971-1972, passed on to that great Chapter Room where the Great High Priest presides. It was great to see such a strong turn out of York Rite Masons at his funeral.

I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting. Come out and support the new officers for the coming year. I hope to have a fun and exciting year.

A motorcycle ride to scenic back roads in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana will start immediately after the meetings. Weather permitting.
