Oriental Guide: DILLON HICKMAN Lady: BETH

Dillon and his Lady Beth have been married for 35 years and reside in Uniontown.  They have six grown children and sixteen grandchildren.  

Dillon is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served four years and attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant E5.  

Dillon served as Master of Coventry Lodge #665 in 1990 and again in 2010 for Coventry-Akron #83.  He was raised a Master Mason in Coventry #665 in 1978 and joined Tadmor in 2006 where he is Captain of the Temple Guard and member of Legion of Honor and Alliance Shrine Club.  

Dillon retired from Lockheed Martin after 37 years, where he was manager of maintenance and part of the flight simulator installation team that traveled to many different countries.  He also is a realtor; selling real estate for America ’s First Choice Realty.  

Beth retired as a Medical Technologist from Summa Health System after 30 years.

Recorder: GARY DEMOSS P.P. Lady: BECKY

Ill. Sir Gary DeMoss is proud to be a third generation Shrine-Mason. Gary began his Masonic experience in 1973 where he was raised to the degree of Master Mason in Joppa Lodge #666 then becoming a member of the Valley of Akron, Scottish Rite, Cuyahoga Falls Council #144, Chapter #225, Commandery #83, Temple Guard, Krazy Kops and ROJ Court #80.

Gary is a second generation potentate here at Tadmor, following his father’s lead, Ill. Sir Corum "CC" DeMoss who served as Potentate in 1972.

Gary was appointed to the Divan in 1996 by then Ill. Sir Crinley Hoover as the Second Ceremonial Officer and them became Potentate in 2002

Recently retired from a 36 year career in law enforcement in the Village of Silver Lake, 17 years serving as the police chief, it was easy to understand his theme for 2002: "To Serve and Protect". Serving and protecting others in a life style, especially children, according to Gary.

Gary and his Lady Becky live in Bath Township and have two adult children: Lyndsey, who teaches school and lives in Akron and son Noble Jason who, like his grandfather, is in the car business and lives in Cuyahoga Falls.

Hobbies include traveling, camping, working on projects at home and enjoying their involvement in the old car hobby, especially if it has something to do with a Corvair.

1st Ceremonial Master : DAVID GOMES Lady: SHERRIE

 

David, a native of Pennsylvania comes to us from ZemZem Temple of Erie, PA and joined Tadmor Temple in 2010 as a dual member and then a full member in 2011. David retired as a Lieutenant from a 30 year career in law enforcement and moved to Ohio when he married his Lady Sherrie in 2010. David graduated from Bradford High School , Indiana University of Pennsylvania , Mercyhurst College with a BS degree in Criminal Justice, and University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with major studies in Business Administration and Business Law.

David was raised to the degree of Master Mason in Union Lodge #334 and later served as its Worshipful Master for two years. He is a Past Monarch of Orak Grotto, Past President of Mckean County Shrine Club, Past Vice-President of the Shrines motorized unit, Past Chairman of the CHIP program for Masonic District #22, and a Past Board Member of the Masonic Temple Association. At ZemZem Temple he served as Vice-Chairman of public relations, a Potentates Aide for six years, Bricker for Camel Herders Stable #44, Keeper of the Quill for the Hillbilly Clan, and a member of the Activities Committee. He is a member of Valley of Coudersport Consistory , Trinity Commandery #58, Bradford Royal Arch Chapter #260, Bradford Council #43, Union Lodge #334, Alliance Shrine Club, Tadmor’s Temple Guard, Director’s Staff and ROJ Court #80.

David and his Lady Sherrie reside in Green, OH and keep active in the community. Between the two they have a daughter Lisa and a grandson Cayden of Raleigh, N.C., and a son Max at home. David, an avid fisherman, can be found on one of the area lakes during his free time.
