Greetings from the East,
March
has been a busy month at Murrells Inlet Lodge. We held our monthly
Stated Communication and celebrated the 60th anniversary of our Charter
on March 11, 2008. We then
hosted the 29th District Masters and Wardens Club Meeting on the 17th.
Next, we initiated 3 fine men on the 18th, and will be conferring the
degree of Fellow Craft on another two April 1st. If you were with us,
we thank you for your patronage. If you were not with us, your
attendance is earnestly solicited.
We have scheduled our first Monthly Lodge Night Out for Saturday, March
29th. We will be visiting the Comedy Cabana for a show. Please RSVP to Ron Gillespie or Russell Hudson. Our annual Chicken Bog will be held on Friday, May 2nd at Inlet Affairs.
Our star stewards Matt Atwell and Mitch Griffith have been busy once
again this month. They have laid tile in the bathrooms, replaced a
toilet, fixed a plumbing issue and much more! In the weeks to come we
will also see our new mosaic pavement laid upstairs, and a fresh coat
of paint downstairs.
