A Short History of Hazel Park Lodge #570

Hazel Park Lodge #570 originally began meeting as a
Square Club on March 7, 1944.

The first meeting under dispensation was held
May 2, 1945 in the Ferndale Masonic Temple in nearby Ferndale

The Corner Stone was laid July 24, 1948

One year later on June 5, 1946 the charter was granted to
Hazel Park #570 by the Grand Lodge F.&A.M. of Michigan.

The first meeting of the new Lodge was held in the
International Order Of Foresters Hall in Hazel Park , Michigan
