Here is their Introduction. In March of 2007, under the guidance of the Masonic Leadership Institute, seven Freemasons (“Team Freedom”) developed the idea to begin a Masonic Military support program to send care packages and other needed items to our Brother Troops abroad. We first built an interactive web site as a communication outlet, for the Service men and women - as well as their families - for contact and support during this time of separation. It is our next goal to reach as many Freemason servicemen (and fellow Service men and women who have Masonic families back home) with packages of home based items and local letters of appreciation. This is the first Troop Support Program for Freemasons stationed abroad. On Memorial Day Weekend of 2007 we officially shipped our first package to Iraq.
