         I offer greetings from the beautiful Pacific Northwest. It is turning out to be a wonderful year for White Shrine in our  part of the country. There has been Ceremonial in one Shrine  or the other every month for six months! We have had over fifty new Sojourners initiated. Here at Temple Shrine we have had two Ceremonial with Rae Ann Copsey, WHP presiding. Our newest members are Stephen & Kimberly Cousins, Lenny Horvath, and Michael Patton. We also added Woody Esterly and Mary Lou Couch as Dual members. Our new members have stepped right up to the plate by taking  offices. Stephen accepted the position 3 rd Wiseman and Lenny took the job of King. They were in place for our second Ceremonial when we added Michael. Kimberly was Elected and Installed as Worthy Guide. Thank to our new members, all of our male stations are filled for the first time in years.

Temple Shrine added Woody in May of 2007 and has since lost him. Sojourner Wilson (Woody) Ellsworth Esterly III passed away in Tacoma, Thursday, September 20, 2007. He was 63. Woody was born on May 18, 1944 in Kentucky. He was a member of King Solomon Lodge #60 F&AM, both Temple and Damascus Shrines, OES, OA & IOOF. Survivors include his wife, Diana Esterly, children, Woody IV, Ricky, Genevieve, Jeff, Nathan, and Danielle, step children, Heidi and Alicia, and six grandchildren. Temple Shrine will miss Soj.
