On August 26, 2006, the Upton Foundation hosted its annual charity golf scramble for scholarships. It was the most successful event in our history. We had 46 golfer participants with 5 Corporate Sponsors and 9 Individual Sponsors. The brochure was designed and printed by RE/MAX Action First. A silent auction item of a GE Microwave was donated by General Electric through Jim Doll. Prizes were contributed by Sperry Van Ness Ward Commercial Group, Bill Jenks and Tom O'Bryan. The golf scramble was held at Long Run Golf Course. The 46 participants enjoyed one of Kentucky's hot afternoons to have fun for scholarships. We were able to raise a record amount of over three thousand dollars NET for Upton Foundation scholarship fund. A BIG THANKS to all who participated and donated their time, talents and stewardship in order to make this a SUCCESSFUL event for the Upton Foundation.
