Masonic Obituaries
In a beautiful garden these friends have gone, to the land of
perfect rest. Their work is done, and the setting sun has sealed
their life's long quest. They have left this earthly garden for a
new home beyond the sea. Though they have gone, they will live on
in the garden of memory.

10-08-2004 - Brother Ralph Jacob Shampine passed on to the land of perfect rest at approximate 2:30am on this day October 8, 2004. A memorial service is being arranged by Brother Shampine's family with Fine & Quinn Funeral Home in Alton IL - Tel: 1-618-462-9296. This information is being conveyed to you in behalf of Brother Shampine's daughter, Sharon Leverone, of Sarasota Florida. Sharon is in transit to St. Louis as we speak, and may be communicated via her cell phone 941-780-7981. Sharon cannot recall her father's Blue Lodge, but suspects it may be located in Alton (Franklin or Piasa Lodge), or Edwardsville. Sharon is interested to request a Masonic Memorial Service, but realizes this might not be possible with so little notice. Should a Masonic Service not be possible, Sharon will be grateful for an obituary to be illustrated within web site http://www.mastermason.com/wam/ob.html#1-01-04 , if appropriate, to honor and remember her Dad... It is my understanding, Sharon, and her Mom, were members of Eastern Star.
