Take a nice drive and come to dinner at the lodge, you have to eat somewhere,
remember no cooking at home on a nice day.
MAY 8 th Regular Meeting 7:30 pm Remember its a night meetings again.

Hi Folks! Meeting is over and it was really nice. All Officers were there except two. Thank you Wanda and Marge for filling in for us. We had several on the side lines, which is always nice. It just goes to show that you do not have to be an officer to come to chapter. Our Worthy Patron told a story about the old clothes lines. It was cute and brought up a lot of memories for people. We all had little stories to tell about that old clothesline. We had a real lively time reminiscing. Made for a fun evening.
Several of our Stars went to the Golf Outing Breakfast and meeting. Boy, the Masons really know how to put on a breakfast, Delicious!!! Thanks fellows. The meeting was very interesting. Dave and I are not golfers but, we did decide to sponsor a hole to help the lodge out and to get the Eastern Star name out there. We sure learnt al lot about the time and effort that goes into making this golf outing happen. the Scholarships awarded ,involves a lot to time of the counselors at school and of our representative who go over all applicants and narrow it down to a few. Our own scholarship committee then has to decide who the recipients will be based on a long list of criteria that they have to meet. This is a very time consuming job.
Our next, going out to Dinner, will be May 20th at the Boulder Creek Golf Course. I hope that we have a good turn out all of our snowbirds should be back by now. They always do a good job for us, and the food is great. Please let me know, at least a day ahead, if you plan on going.
The next Swiss Steak dinner will be May 4th. We need people to come out to eat. It's ok if you can't work, but you have to eat some place, it might as well be with us!!!
