Grand Lodge in Detroit May 30th and 31st We had another good turnout for the March Swiss Steak dinner, 110 Adults and 2 children. We have been handing out the dinner-schedule cards printed up by Oscar and Wanda Paulsen. Also starting with the April dinner, we will be having people put their name and phone number on the back of their meal tickets and will draw one after the closing of the dinner. The winner of the Swiss Steak dinner from the drawing is Barb S. Phone number 696-9320. I ve called this number several times with no results, as yet. Do any of you know who this is? Master Mason's Degree Sparta Lodge, April 26th. Brothers we are raising Scott Roberts to a Master Mason, at Sparta lodge, along with six other candidates. The degree will start at 10:00 AM, with the refreshment break around noon. This is a potluck affair. Please bring a dish to pass. The candidates are excluded from this requirement unless they really want to bring something. Brothers I wish to see all of your smiling faces there to show your support for our new members. Remember your own degree and the feeling of belonging that came over you, when the hoodwink came off and all your brothers were there around you, illuminated by the alter lights. Brother Ron Grew SW and myself will be going the the Grand Communication in Detroit, the end of the month. I have a copy of the proposals that the Council will be voting on this year please see me if you have some questions about these.
