DOUGLAS "BUDDY," PHILLIPS, 85, of Fairdale,
KY passed away Saturday November 6, 2010,
Masonic Home of Louisville.
Buddy was a retired member of Teamsters
Local 89 with Allied Systems 35 years,
member of Robinson Masonic Lodge 266 F & AM,
Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine, American
Legion Post 42 of New Albany and a proud
U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, the
former Marilyn Green; children, Ronald L.,
Gary Douglas (Lydia) and Debra Phillips;
grandchildren, Brandon and Tony Phillips,
Angela Brooks, Susanne Padgett and Amy
Gabhart; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Thursday at W. G.
Hardy Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Hwy., with
burial in Garnettsville Cemetery with U. S.
Navy Honors. Visitation: 3 - 8 p.m.
Wednesday at the funeral home. Masonic
service will be held at 7 p.m.
