Arvin Highfill, 74, of LaGrange, passed away
Wednesday, January 14, 2009.
He was retired
owner of Highfill & Hester Flooring Company,
Inc. Memberships include LaGrange Baptist
Church, an Army Veteran of the Korean War in
the 101st Division Rifle Team and the
Robinson Masonic Lodge #266.
He was preceded
in death by parents, Bernard and Julie Highfill; and a brother, Bernie Ray
Highfill. Survivors include, his wife, Pat
(Moore) Highfill; daughters, Sharon Hilmer
(Andy) and Charlotte Walters (Daniel); a
brother, Marvin Highfill; a sister, Sue
Gayle Gerlinger (Richard); and six
grandchildren.
Funeral service is 11 a.m.
Saturday at Oldham County Funeral Home, 706
W. Jefferson St. with burial in Floydsburg
Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 and 7-9
p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Memorial
contributions may be made to the LaGrange
Baptist Church building fund.
