Floyd Dean Dothager, 76, of Vine Grove, KY
passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012
surrounded by family at his residence, after
a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Dothager was a veteran of the United
States Army and retired from Civil Service.
He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of
the Masonic Lodge, Robinson Lodge No. 266
He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy
Siebert
Survivors include: His wife of 48 years,
Bonnie Dothager of Vine Grove, KY; 2
children, Sonja Ferrand & her husband, Brian
of Bonnieville, KY, Rick Dothager of Vine
Grove, KY; 1 granddaughter, Jilianne Warner;
6 siblings, Joyce Jolliff, Ron Dothager &
his wife, Judy, Carroll Dothager, Jean
Roberts & her husband, Jim, Alan Dothager,
Kathy Fuson; and several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Dothager's funeral service will be held
at 11 AM, Monday, March 12, 2012 from the
chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine
Grove, KY with Pastor Darwin Bostwick
officiating. Burial will follow in the
Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central,
Radcliff, Kentucky with military honors
Visitation will be at Coffey & Chism Funeral
Home on Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM and after 9
AM on Monday
