Wafer “Dick” Brooks, 85, passed away
Friday April 8, 2011 at Thompson Hood
Veterans Center in Wilmore, Ky. He was a
retired forklift operator for Ford Motor
Co., a Navy veteran of WWII and Army veteran
of the Korean War, also member of Excelsior
Masonic Lodge # 258. He is preceded in death
by his loving wife Catherine. Survivors
include four daughters; Pam Springer, Rita
Brooks, Betty Groves and Jenny Pitcock. Two
brothers; Sam and Charles Brooks, 5;
grandchildren, 15; great-grandchildren and 1
great-great grand daughter
Visitation will be Tuesday 2pm to 8pm at
Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. A Masonic
Service on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at
7:00pm. Please arrive at 6:30pm at the
funeral home.
