The
guest speaker for our Annual Banquet was U.S.Army Retired Colonel
Ronnie B. Gipson (above). He is a graduate of Golden Gate University
in San Francisco, California. He is also a graduate of Officer
Training School, completed both Helicopter and Airplane Pilot
Schools. He graduated from the Army Command and General Staff
College and the prestigious Senior Service War College. He enlisted
as a Private and retired after 27-plus years as a Colonel. Ronnie
is now a rancher, a Mentor of young African American children
and an active influence in the political process. Additionally,
he is the Chairman of the Cass County Historical Commission and
also serves as President of the Northeast Texas Minority Coalition.
