The Order Of Eastern Star is a Charitable, Benevolent and Educational society it's

principles are proclaimed as wide as women can hear,. It's only secrets are in it's

methods of recognition and of symbolic instructions.

IS IT A RELIGION?

The O.E.S. like Freemasonry is not a religion nor a substitute for religion, but it is

an organization for women and men of any race or religion who share a belief in

the Supreme Being GOD. Those who wish to join may do so, As long as they meet

the required qualifications.
