This is your official notification on the following meetings and events in  November 2007:

• Wednesday, November 14, 2007 - Ocala Chapter Stated Convocation
  Time: 7:30 PM
  Religious Affirmation Observance

• Tuesday, November 20, 2007 - 8th Capitular District Meeting - 7:30 PM
  R.T. Schaeffer - Gainesville

• Wednesday, November 28, 2007 - Ocala Commandery 19 Stated Conclave
  Time: 7:30 PM
  Election of 2008 Commandery Officers

Lodge Visitations   The Ocala York Rite Masons will begin scheduled visits to the Blue Lodges in our area. This will be a visit not to talk on York Rite but one to strengthen our fellowship with the Blue Lodge. The schedule will be published in the next few weeks.

FREE 2008 DUES    If you missed 2007, you still have time for 2008. Be the first line signer of 3 or more petitions before  the end of 2007, your 2008 dues are paid for all three bodies. Better yet, if you are the first line signer of 20 or more petitions, you will be eligible for a Perpetual Membership. Contact the Secretary for more information. 

Newsletter
The first issue of our newsletter went out in March 2007. How frequent will it be? It will depend on the editor and the frequency it will be published. Companions and Sir Knight, your help is needed. If you have an e-mail where we can send you the newsletter, please forward the same to the Secretary at oyrb@tampabay.rr.com . This will greatly help us lower our printing and postage costs (now that postage went up to $.41).

Petitions
Companion and Sir Knight, do you have a Blue Lodge brother that wants to complete his journey as a York Rite Mason, download our petition to complete and further his light in Freemasonry. Deadline for petitions to be handed at 7:00 PM on the first Chapter degree date prior to the beginning of the degree. The One Day Class is just around the corner. Remember our Bodies survive through membership. Promote, promote, promote York Rite.

For those Ocala York Rite Companions that demitted or were dropped for non-payment of dues and are interested in rejoining, you can submit a reinstatement petition.
