Ovid Lodge Newsletter

Dear Brethren:

I hope this newsletter finds you ready and anxious for a new year and all the opportunities that go with it.

My name is Jeff Mock and I have been elected as your Worshipful Master this year to oversee the work at your lodge. I have been an Ovid Lodge member for over 20 years. I am looking forward to this year as a year of revitalization and growth.

For the past few years the lodge has seen a steady decline in membership, participation, and attendance. This tread has got to stop. I need your help to make Ovid Lodge #164 a busy and robust lodge.

Ovid Lodge is financially sound. The building is in good shape. All this would imply that the lodge is doing fine and everything is satisfactory. However natural that supposition may be to you, yet it is erroneous. We need present members, that’s means you, to PARTICIPATE in lodge functions. We need new members, as this would bring new ideas and would revitalize our lodge. Our Stated Meeting is on the First Tuesday of each month at 7pm, except July and August.

I will be putting out a newsletter every 3 months and updating our website as needed. Please Visit this website so you can check to see when we have something coming up.
