Family of Alvin Hardy - Snow Lodge No. 363 (10/4/47 - 3-19-08)

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of W.^.. Alvin Hardy, 33° on Wednesday night, March 19, 2008.  W.^.. Alvin was a Past Master of Snow Lodge No. 363 in Boone, NC, Past DDGM - 33rd Masonic District, Joseph Montfort  recipient and first Webmaster of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of North Carolina.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family during this very difficult time.  We thank W.^.. Alvin  for his many years of faithful service and the many contributions he provided in all his work with our Fraternities.

Harry Greene - (Our Master) - Orphans Lodge No. 761

W.^.. Harry Greene underwent triple by-pass surgery on December 19th and was released from the hospital on December 31st.  Harry is doing fine now and regaining his strength each day.  Please keep he and his family in your prayers during his recovery period.

Family of Bobbie W. Stephens - Orphans Lodge No. 761, (10/25/44 - 12/20/07)

We are sad to report that Brother Bobbie W. Stephens was killed in an automobile accident on Thursday, December 20th.  As one of our original Charter Members, Brother Bobbie was the first ever elected to serve as Treasurer of Orphans Lodge No. 761 and held that position until December 15th.  He was also a member and officer of Oxford Lodge No. 122.  Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to his wife and family.
