The "Grand Lodge Announcement” page provides a centralized location to obtain timely and accurate information.

Your organization can make information as well as forms (i.e. hotel reservations, ticket requests, special meals, patron lists, transportation requests, souvenir journals, etc...) available for view/download by your patrons.

The  Announcement Page does not circumvent the regular manner in which you advertise.  It serves as an enhancement to your efforts, by making the information/forms easily accessible to your patrons on a 24 hour basis.

With time being short and money even shorter, this is an excellent way to get the ball rolling in 2010.

Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge License Plate Drive

To all Grand Lodge Officers, Past and Present, All Past Most Worshipful Grand Masters, All Worshipful Masters, Past Masters, Wardens, and Brethren 

The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Ohio  has entering into an agreement with the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicle to sponsor a license plate that has the logo, and name “Prince Hall”.  We need 500 signatures to get Bureau of Motor Vehicle approval for this project.

17 July 2010 -  Al Lalim Court No. 205 Commandress Ball

Greetings,

The officers and members of Al Lalim Court No. 205 wish to extend to you a warm and cordial invitation to be our guest at our 2010 Commandress Ball honoring our Illustrious Commandress, Dt. Wendy Davis. This year’s Ball will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Holiday Inn, beginning at 7:00 pm with a sit down dinner.

This gala week-end will commence Friday, July 16, 2010 with hospitality from 7:00pm – until. Saturday afternoon hospitality will be from 1 – 4:00 pm. Cost for entire weekend is $45.00 with admittance to Friday and Saturday main hospitalities. Deadline for ticket purchase is July 9, 2010.

The 138th Annual Grand Conclave for the Commandry of Knights Templar and its Jurisdiction will take place on July 17-18, 2010 at the Doubletree Hotel, located at 3150 West Market Street in Fairlawn, Ohio.  Room reservations can be made by contacting the hotel directly at 330-869-9000.  The room rate is $79.00 per night plus tax and the room rate is guaranteed through July 2, 2010.
 
Advance registration is $40.00 and on-site registration will be $50.00.  If you plan to attend the dinner, those tickets are available at a cost of $45.00 each.

31 July 2010 - IMPORTANT INFORMATION - GRAND LODGE COMMUNICATION

Subject: GRAND COMMUNICATION HOTEL RESERVATION BOOKING

To the members of the Prince Hall Family of Ohio
 
At the Planning Session held last Saturday in Cincinnati for the upcoming Grand Lodge/Grand Chapter Sessions, some information was disclosed that the MWGM Robert L. Jones and the GWM Kay F. Anderson want you to be aware of for planning purposes.  Please take due and timely notice of the following:
 
1.  The Macy's Music Festival will be in Cincinnati on that weekend (Friday & Saturday) and it is important that you call the Millennium Hotel now and reserve your rooms.  Our block of rooms are held until June 29, and after that they go back into the general population for sale and YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET A ROOM AT OUR RATE which is $117.00 per night plus 18% tax.  Parking is $15.00 per day.
 
2.  The election for Amaranth Grand Chapter will actually begin on Monday morning with the nominations for the elected positions and the opening of the polls. Tuesday will be used for any run-offs for positions where more than two candidates are running and no one receives a majority of the eligible votes cast. The results of the election and public installation will then occur on Tuesday afternoon.

For the OES, this is our election year.  The election and public installation will both occur on Tuesday afternoon.  THERE WILL NOT BE A TUESDAY EVENING RELAXO!!!  The newly elected GWM will host a small hospitality for those who remain over Tuesday evening.  Nothing is scheduled for Wednesday.

 
3.  As part of a Fund Raiser, the Grand Lodge has tickets for the Macy's Music Festival which can be purchased or sold to anyone (not limited to the Masonic family).  To receive tickets, you must pay up front. Amaranth Grand Chapter has been included in this project.
 
4.  Anyone who wants to be a vendor or knows of someone who would like vendor space need to contact the Grand Lodge Office at 50 Hamilton Park.
 
5.  There will be a Secretary and Treasurer's Workshop on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. for the Brothers.  Lodge Secretaries and Treasurers, please govern yourselves accordingly.
 
6.  PLEASE READ AND HEED - NO EXCEPTIONS!  Members of the Masonic Order or OES who are not eligible to vote may register for $45.00.  This does not include a banquet ticket. ALL OTHERS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE WILL PAY THE FULL REGISTRATION COST. THIS INCLUDES WORSHIPFUL MASTERS, WARDENS AND PAST MASTERS OF THE LODGES AND WORTHY MATRONS, WORTHY PATRONS, ASSOCIATE MATRONS, AND ALL PAST MATRONS AND PATRONS OF THE CHAPTERS.
