| Brethren: With July we bring the warm days of summer, and six months have passed since becoming Worshipful Master. During the first half of the year we have raised five Master Masons. I would like to thank the officers and members who assisted during this time. I would like to thank members of other lodges that have joined us in our work. Our annual Fish Fry was our biggest fundraiser of this year. I would like to thank Geoffrey Brumback for heading this great event. On behalf of the Lodge, I would like to thank the officers and members for their assistance with the Fish Fry and the DeMolay Chapter and the Jobs Daughters for their help as well. A great job was done by all! For those of you with computers and internet access, there are website listings with links to many lodges in Madison County. Mount Moriah's website is www.mastermason.com/mtmoriah77. From time to time, necessary changes must be made in dates or times for degree work and will be updated on this website. Charles Parker, P.M. who was our Junior Warden, resigned in May, but will continue his job as Trustee. I have appointed Geoffrey Brumback as his replacement. Election for Junior Warden will be at our July stated meeting. I would like to thank brother Parker for his assistance during this time. Another job well done. As a usual custom, the Lodge will go dark during July and August for conferring of degrees. Those labors will continue September 1st with the Fellow Craft Degree. My brother, again I would like to invite you out for the degree work. A candidate informed me how important and thankful he was for the support he has received from the sidelines. Geoffrey Brumback will be reorganizing the Craft Club as Craft Coordinator, so those interested contact him at (765) 622-7866. | |
