Masonic Scholarship 2007-2008

Justin M. Lane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Lane of Beech Grove, has received a $1300 dollar Masonic Scholarship from the Scholarship Board of the Grand Lodge of Indiana, Free and Accepted Masons. The Grand Lodge of Indiana Scholarship Board distributes earnings from an endowment, making it one of the largest fraternal scholarship funds in the country. In the years of its operation over 6 million dollars in scholarships have helped over 6,000 Hoosier students realize their educational goals. Children, stepchildren and grandchildren of Master Masons and Master Masons who demonstrate academic merit, financial need and community participation may apply for the scholarship if they are attending an Indiana College or University. Justin M. Lane was one of 328 selected from almost 600 applicants. Justin was sponsored by his father, Bradley Lane, who is a member of Mooresville Lodge #78 F&A.M.. Justin plans to apply the Masonic Scholarship toward his 2nd Year at Anderson University.
Justin was presented a certificate at Mooresville's June Stated Meeting by James Catania, Worshipful Master. |
