One of the real joys of Masonic membership is the privilege of visiting other lodges. At every meeting you are reminded that one of the reasons for becoming a Mason is so that you might be able to travel “in foreign countries.” Visiting sister lodges, whether in Maryland or in other Jurisdictions, is the symbolic fulfillment of that travel.
In your travels, remember the words found over the door of Howard Lodge No. 101:
“There are no strangers within these doors, Only friends you have not met.”
Past Grand Master Francis E. Larrimore (1998-2000)
