Miss Ella Ecker is a little girl that was diagnosed in 2011 with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), a condition that renders her unable to ambulate. We voted at a recent Stated Meeting to designate her as our “Charity Project “ for 2014.

Brother Waylon Piercy, the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Calhoun Louisiana, are currently raising money to purchase Ella an updated  mode of transportation. It's our understanding that this item is very expensive but should last her well into her years and would allow her to be more mobile. On May 15th, 2014, Graham Surghnor Lodge #383 voted to donate $500.00 to assist in this purchase.
