Franklin Lodge’s First Annual Turkey Shoot!

 

 

Saturday, November 10th, 2007 10 AM to 3 PM.

(Or we run out of turkeys)

Held at the Shirley Rod & Gun Club,

Kittredge Road, Shirley, MA

Just off Route 2A in Shirley, MA, about three miles west of the Ayer rotary.

 

$3.00 per shot, eight shots per relay – A turkey to be won in each relay!

 

Three shooting lines – we supply firearms and ammo!

 

There will be Range Safety Officers at each line – NO SHOOTING EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

 

There will be Turkeys raffled off if you don’t want to try and shoot one!

There will be an air pistol available for those who do not want to shoot a .22

(No, you’re not really shooting at real turkeys; just paper targets!)

 

The shooting lines will be covered, so this will be held rain or shine. Hot coffee will be available in the clubhouse.

 

Directions from Grafton

RT 140 North to I-290 East

I-290 East to I-495 North - exit 26B

I-495 to Exit 29B – RT 2 West

RT 2 West to Exit 38B RT 110 East / RT 111North

Follow for 2 miles to the rotary and take the second exit on the Rotary onto MA-111 N / MA-2A W and go 1.1 miles

Turn right onto Park St / RT 111/RT 2A

Bear left onto Fitchburg Road at the blinker and go 1.7 miles.

Turn right onto Kittredge Rd and follow all the way to the end.
