The Fish Fry was a great hit at the April Meeting.
If you missed this months meal, Please remember that Mays meal
will be prior to the meeting. We hope to see you out to the
event.
Singara Grotto Bowling Challenge!
Two PPOGAs visited us in April PM Jay More and PM Mark McCombs,
came out for the meeting from Singara Grotto and they have
Challenged El Rey to a night of Bowling. The details will be
worked out, and wifes are encouraged to attend. Hopefully we can
make this an annual event.
Past Monarch's Night
Monarch John Morris has declared that our May meeting will be
Past Monarch's Night, All Past Monarchs are encouraged to attend
on this special occassion.

Will be held on March 22nd at Oberlin Masonic Temple, The Grotto

This year the Red and Purple Tassel Awards where presented at
our Installation. New Monarch John Morris received the Red
Tassel Award, while Past Monarch Larry Meadows Sr. received his
second Purple Tassel Award - you may visit our Tassel Award page

Friday December 19th 2008
El Rey Grotto Installation of Officers
Will be held on Dec 20th 2008 at 7pm Oberlin Masonic Temple,
please come out and support our new line of officers as we enter
2009, This will be our last event before going dark - Lights out
till March!
Saturday November 29th 2008
December Executive Board Meeting
Will be held on Dec 5th 2008 this will be the last Executive
Board Meeting with the current leadership of El Rey Grotto,
hence forth the Executive meetings will be held on the Last
Friday of the Month, beginning on Dec 26th under our new
Monarch, John Morris. Please make plans to attend both meetings
if you are an officer.
December Stated Session
We will be joining the Caldron for a Pot Luck dinner at 6pm,
your Monarch will be unable to attend this meeting due to
conflicting work obligations.
2008 El Rey Grotto Children's Christmas Party
Will be held Dec 14th at New Russia Township Hall. This year
David J. Nye Chapter of DeMolay will be helping in the setup and
tear down of the Room. Please contact Chairman Larry Meadows Sr.
for more information.

Fraternal Visit by our new SCDD Chuck Lago PM of Caliph
Grotto, November is also our Move UP night so please be
prepared to move up one station. We do have room for more
people to take offices this year please contact Chief

El Rey Grotto Thanksgiving Dinner
Will be held November 15th at 6pm,
Oberlin Masonic Temple hosted by El Rey Caldron.
Executive Board Meetings
We have officially moved our meetings to
the last Friday of the month starting with December 26th
2008 which will be the first under the new leadership of the
Grotto
Installation of 2009 Officers
Will be held December 20th at Oberlin Masonic Temple,
we will have a practice on December 19th
