A reminder, if  your organization has an upcoming function/event, you can advertise it on the Grand Lodge website.  All Lodges, Chapters, and  Affiliated Bodies of Prince Hall Freemasonry, are authorized to advertise on the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Ohio website.

 
When submitting an advertisement, please submit only those materials which will send a positive message about your organizations, such as information on fund-raisers, parades, fairs, car-washes, charitable dinners, sports tournaments, hotel reservations, ticket requests, special meals, patron lists, transportation requests, souvenir journals ad contracts, etc...

Brothers and Sisters,

You are invited to come celebrate with us!

The 14th Annual Past Masters Ball will be held on Saturday Feb. 1, 2014. The Past Masters Council of Mt. Calvary Lodge #76 and Phoenix Lodge #112 will honor our Newly Elected Worshipful Masters, Newly Raised Masters, Past Masters and a Special Community Service Award Winner. Our MWGM Darryl R. Smith will also be in attendance. 

The Dinner will be held at the Holiday Inn Akron West, 4073 Medina Rd. (Rt. 18 and I-77). Social Hour begins at 6:00 pm and Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. The program and dance will follow dinner.

The First OES District of Amaranth Grand Chapter announces an Inaugural Event in honor of the Junior Past Matrons and Patrons of the First District Chapters: Queen Elizabeth No. 9, Mary No. 47, Wisdom No. 51, Bethel No. 58, Mizpah No. 66, Phoenix No. 96 and Ecclesiastes No. 101.  Keynote Speaker for the event is our own Grand Worthy Matron Sister Loling M. Sawyer.  Schedules permitting she will be joined by our Most Worshipful Grand Master, The Honorable Darryl R. Smith and our Worthy Patron Brother Arnet W. Sanders, Jr. as they present the Past Matron sashes and Past Patron aprons to our leaders from the Class of 2013.  The event will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 4:00PM at the Doubletree Hotel, Independence, Ohio, 6200 Quarry Lane (take Rockside Road exit off I-77North – turn right, then right at Quarry Lane  - look for the Bob Evans Restaurant).

 25- April 2014 - Robin’s Road to Recovery Benefit (fundraiser)/Walk Weekend

Greetings All,
 

I along with friend and sister, Develyn Jones, have taken on a mission to be part of the Robin’s Road to Recovery Benefit (fundraiser)/Walk Weekend, to be held in Alliance, Ohio on April 25th and 26th 2014.  Our Sister is in a battle with breast cancer and we are asking you all to mark these dates on your calendar to show support with your presence, monetary donations, and words of love and encouragement and join the fight.

A Banquet will take place on Friday night April 25th  at Courtney’s Banquet Center 981 East State Street Alliance, Ohio 44601. The walk will take place on Saturday April 26th with the assistance of the Cancer Society.

 

The hotel we will be using is the Comfort Inn located at: 2500 W. State St. Alliance, Ohio 44601. Reservations for the hotel can be made by calling 330-821-5555,  and mentioning “Benefit of Hope for Robin”. This will ensure you the discounted rate.

Yes, It’s that time again!  We will soon be mailing information to the Chapters about the 2014 Cancer Walk to be held this year on Saturday, August 2nd in Cincinnati as one of the preliminary activities during our Grand Communication.  Past Grand Worthy Matron Beverly J.
