A MESSAGE FROM THE EAST
March/April 2008

Greetings Brethren:
The months just seemed to fly by so quickly. I believe our lodge has started with great expectations, goals, and even accomplishments already during this time.

A Leadership Conference which was held at the Scottish Rite Lodge in Louisville. All the key officers were in attendances. It was really informative.

Our Official Visit by the District Deputy Grand Master all Officer were in attendance.

On February 23h, 2007, we celebrated with a George Washington Banquet at Duvall Lodge in Bardstown. We had a large turnout for our Banquet. We were honored to have guest speaker Carl Black, give an outstanding talk on Patriotism and the American Flag. At the end of his speech, he was given a standing ovation. The meeting ended with the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag led by the Master.

I want to take a moment just to express my appreciation for all the people who make these events happen; we need your help and we sincerely know how lucky we are to have you and your support.

A lot of our brethren are in the Scottish Rite Lodge. They are holding a 3 day reunion at the Scottish Rite Lodge in Louisville, Kentucky.

Our LOI (Lodge of Instruction) Officer Proficiency is continuing on Wednesday. We are well into our training and moving forward to accomplishments.
