A MESSAGE FROM THE EAST

December 2008

Greetings Brethren:

My year is winding down. Let us take time to reflect on the lodge’s accomplishments during the year. The Leadership Conference, The rededication of the lodge, George Washington Banquet, Recognition and Honors Dinner, District 15 Meeting, Great Day of Service, Student Recognition Awards, Scholarship Award, Widows’ Dinner, Flag Day Massing of the Colors, Fellowship Dinner, Saint’s John Day Church Services, Save a Soldier’s Life Blood Drive, Community Picnic for the First Responders, Pin & Past Master Dinner, Grand Lodge Meeting, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Christmas Party, all the Degree Work, the LOIs (Lodge of Instruction), but I saved the best for last; all of the blood, sweat, tears, hard work and sacrifices that went into obtaining the Grand Master’s Excellence Award. WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!.

As Master of Duvall Lodge #6; I want to say it has been both a wonderful experience and blessing to me personally. My heart-felt thanks go out to all of my officers and my brethren for their guidance, support, and help that made this a successful year. All of the activities and events would not have been accomplished without all of the work and dedication of the lodge members. I want to say THANK YOU.

Election of all Officers for 2009 is schedule for December 27, 2008 at 7:30-- Meal at 6:30.

Installation of Officers for 2009 January 3, 2009 at 7:30-- Meal at 6:30.
This will be an open installation with families and friends invited.

I sincerely hope that each of you will have a Happy Holiday, and prosperous New Year.
Merry Christmas
