The light is inside us but we have to part several veils. Contemplative Masonry offers to the Initiate a path to esoteric light. Each Freemason should read the workbook at least once to see that our ancient Fraternal Order is not only about Relief and Brotherly Love. The secret of Freemasonry is not only concerned with its traditional modes of recognition, but regards our personal path to the light. We have to look inside us (Visita Interiora Terrae), work hard to modify our "self" (rectificando) and finally to build the perfect ashlar (Invenies Occultum Lapidem).
