
About Coldwater Lodge #148 F&AM
The first meeting of Coldwater Lodge was held January 17,
1851.
Coldwater 148 F&AM was chartered to work on December 4th, 1851,
and the first chartered meeting was held one year later on January 17, 1852
at the "coldwater spring" in Green Pond, Alabama.

On March 31, 1876, the Lodge was authorized by
Grand Master Palmer J. Pillans to move to Vance Station.
We are now located in Woodstock, a small town in northern Bibb county in central
Alabama, in rural farm country not far from the historic Tannehill Iron Works.
