Welcome to the new website for Athens Lodge #16 in Athens Al.

I would like take this opportunity to thank Brother Michael Wheeler for the time and dedication he has put forth in creating this website.  If you have any input as to how you feel it could be improved please let him know.

Let us all remember that “self gain in masonry” is the feeling we get, in our hearts, when we have done something good for ANY PERSON.  We, as masons, should experience this feeling often.

As W.M. this year, I would like to encourage each brother,  “I’m including myself” to think of ways we can do more in the communities to show what masonry is all about. Masonry should be more than attending a meeting twice a month.
