Revolutionary Patriot. Lieutenant, 2nd New York Artillery Regiment, Continental Line, Revolutionary War. Served with distinction under the command of General LaFayette, in Virginia in 1780, who presented him with a sword for gallantry in action. General of Militia. President of the Cumberland County Bank.
