Beard, Daniel Carter – He was born on June 21, 1850 and died on June 11, 1941. He was an American writer, painter, and Illustrator. In 1905, he founded the Sons of Daniel Boone ((The Boy Pioneers) in 1905 which later became the first Boy Scout’s of America organization (1910) in the US. He was the Boy Scouts first National Commissioner and Chairman of the Court of Honor. He was a member of Mariners Lodge #67 in New York City, New, York.

John James Duncan, Sr. He was born in Huntsville, Tennessee on March 14, 1919. He was an American attorney and Republican politician who represented Tennessee's 2nd Congressional District in the U. S. House of Representatives from 1965 until his death on June 21, 1988. He also served as Mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee, from 1959 to 1964, and as assistant attorney general of Knox County, Tennessee from 1948 until 1956. He is the father of Congressman Jimmy Duncan, who currently represents the 2nd District. He was a member of Charles H. McKinney Lodge #433 F&AM in Knoxville, Tennessee. He received his Entered Apprentice Degree on July 08, 1948, his Fellow Crafts Degree on December 21, 1972, and was raised to the sublime degree of Master Masons on October 13, 1973. He entered the Celestial lodge on June 21, 1988 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
