Simon Bolivar entered the Celestial Lodge on this day in 1830. He was instrumental in bringing an end to Spanish Rule in South America. He was initiated a mason in Cadiz, Spain and later got his master mason degree in Scotland. He was a founder of Liberty Masonic Lodge in Peru. He became the first president of Venezuela, South America.
