You should know that Mandy Caffee, as Grand Worthy Advisor of Kentucky, has been kept busy in her travels recently.   In addition to attending classes at U. of L., working at Factory Card Outlet on Dixie Highway, she has been having some of her  official visits with other Assemblies, as well as recently standing in for the Worthy Advisor of Fort Knox Assembly for their Initiation.   She has also at the request of Mom Anne Payne Dukes brought greetings to the York Rite, Grand Lodge, and Grand Chapter.
On Thursday, October 23, the Assembly visited the residents at the OES Home to play Bingo, and give out the quarters to the winners.   The girls took prizes and refreshments to make for a most enjoyable evening.   (How the ladies love to win those quarters!)

Saturday, October 25, we held a Bake Sale for the Assembly while working the Fish Fry.    We think the customers look forward to having dessert with that famous fish, and we thank the Social Club for letting us have this opportunity to increase our funds.

Also, on Monday, October 27, we will begin selling shares on a $30.00 Gift Certificate from Target.  The shares are 3 for $1.00, and the drawing will be held in the dining room after  our meeting on Monday, November 24, and you do not need to be present to win.

On Thursday, November 6, the Assembly will purchase, prepare, and serve a Dinner  at 6:00 p.m. to the members of Suburban Lodge prior to their meeting that evening in appreciation for all the wonderful support the Assembly receives.   We ask that you show up with a good appetite, and enjoy the festivities.

Friday, November 7, the girls will be having a sleepover to prepare for the Assembly's Inspection by Mom Anne Payne Dukes on Monday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m.  This is always an exciting time, and the girls are very busy brushing up on their ritual work, and making plans for the addenda and the refreshments that evening.

On Wednesday, November 12, at 6:30 p.m., Lorraine Assembly will host their Annual  Grand Cross of Color Dinner.    This meal will be catered, with the cost being $10.00, and it is not necessary for you to bring any food.   If you are a member of the Grand Cross of Color and would like to attend, please call Aunt Rose and make your reservation by Sunday, November 9.
