The Kentucky DeMolay Sorority met and made plans for the Summer Conclave and decided on the center pieces for the grand banquet to be held at the Summer Conclave and also made accordion photo albums. They baked some delicious apple pies for the meal Saturday evening. The Sorority made plans for their dance on April 30th, which will be held a Buechel United Methodist Church off Hikes Lane and made plans for their bake sale on Saturday, June 4th, at Suburban Masonic Lodge.

A Parliamentary Procedure Placement test was given and from those scores, two classes were formed to provide further instruction and information via power point presentations.
The results for the top three individuals of the test were: 1st Place, Josh Justice of River Cities Chapter; 2nd Place, Cody Stevens of Cherokee Chapter and 3rd Place (Tie), Joseph Perkins of River Cities Chapter and Austin Yates of Blue Grass Chapter. A Variety Show was held and several acts participated. Sam Reese played the banjo. Miranda Elbert and Faith Klinglesmith, along with Justin Crisp, Spencer Warren and Marcum Brown performed a skit to the song “Baby” by Justin Bieber. Cherokee Chapter members performed a dance to the Jackson Five’s hit “ABC”. Cheryl Crum and Jerry Crum hula hooped with great style. Blue Grass Chapter performed the song “What do Tigers Dream Of”. Everyone enjoyed the show.

Many thanks to Dad Jeremy Puckett of Valley of the Cumberland Chapter provided a scrumptious meal on Saturday evening of Bar-B-Que, beans and chips, which we all enjoyed very much! Also, many thanks to the State Mothers Club for providing breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. One thing is for sure, Kentucky DeMolay might be “Where the Fun is”, but their Conclaves are where you can enjoy some great food and fellowship.
