A PRESS RELEASE ABOUT THE SPRING CONCLAVE IS ATTACHED. IF YOU FIND ANY ERRORS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE I SEND IT TO THE MASONIC HOME JOURNAL.
 
1. Blue Grass Chapter - SMC Tim Wemes and I were present at his Official Visit to Blue Grass Chapter on Monday, April 9th. MC Andrew Johnston did
a great job with his ritual work and with presiding over the Chapter. Keep up the good work!

2. Annual Conclave - The Annual Conclave will be held in July with the date to be confirmed shortly. Tentative plans include the following:
Team Ritual Competition (Chapter Proficiency, DeMolay Degree 1st and 3rd Sections, DeMolay Degree 4th Section)
Individual Ritual Competitions (Flower Talk, Orator, EACH Individual Preceptor Part)
Athletic Events - Softball, Volleyball, and others as facilities permit
Other Competitions - Speech Contest, Academic Bowl, Computer Game Competitions
Activities - Congress Sessions with Degrees, Priory Investiture, Sorority
Induction, Grand Banquet and Ball with Honors Ceremonies, Majority Service, Coronation of State Sweetheart and Installation of State Officers

3. Donation from Eastern Star Chapters - The Grand Chapter of Kentucky, Order of the Eastern Star, has contributed $1,481.92 to help the four active chapters of Kentucky DeMolay. We thank the members of the Order of the Eastern Star for their support of Kentucky DeMolay.

4. Scholarships - The Kentucky DeMolay Scholarships will be awarded at the Annual Conclave. If you need a form, please e-mail me. Deadline for submission to me is May 1, 2007.

5. DeMolay International - The 87th DeMolay International Supreme Council Session and the 40th International DeMolay Congress will be held June 13-16, 2007 in St. Louis, Missouri. Several of you have indicated your desire to attend the installation of Dad Patton R. Hart as Grand Master on Saturday, June 16 beginning at 2:00 PM. If you wish to attend, I must mail the reservations before May 1. Please let me hear from you ASAP.
